New students and guests who were are attending classes or visiting the Technology, Art and Design Department in Bemidji State University (BSU) needed help with finding their way around the building. So the best solution is to make wayfinding. This was a collaborative group project for our advanced Graphic design class. In my group, I designed wayfinders for the main staircase - so, from the first till the third floor.
It's usually a long walk up to the third floor, so I wanted to make it entertaining for our fellow students - to remind them that you do need this degree even though you're climbing eight flights of stairs for your 8am class.
The best part of this project was printing all the graphics!
Fact: I used the large format printer so much that it was named after me.
